Show STATE HEALTH REPORT i For the week ending Octobcf 27, the health officers from U counties reported that their counties coun-ties were free from communicable diseases, the balance of the counties coun-ties reported a total of 119 cases. In addition to these, 33 cases of communicable diseases were reported re-ported among non-residents, the majority of which were reported from army hospitals. For the previous week, 181 cases cas-es were reported among residents and 24 among non residents. It is interesting to note from the report that only 4 cases of measles and 3 cases of scarlet fever were reported from the entire en-tire state. Five cases of tuberculosis were reported, one of these is a nonresident. non-resident. Of the number of cases of tuberculosis reported during 1044 approximately forty per cent are non-residents. Army hospitials reported nine new cases of malaria fever. A total of 6 cases of acute rheumatic fever was reported by physicians and local health officers. of-ficers. The total resident and non-res ident cases of communicable diseases di-seases reported for the week are as follows: chickenpox 67, influenza influ-enza 2, measles 4, mumps 31 pneumonia 2, scarlet fever 3, septic sep-tic sore throat 2; tuberculosis 5, whooping cough 15, gonorrhea 27, syphilis 9, malaria fever 9, and heumatic fever 6. |
