Show MIDNIGHT PREVIEW ATTRACTS CROWD Tn7 Midnight Preview at the Mario Theatre, Monday Evening proved a grand success, and the Boys' and Girls' club at Fairmont have a piano. The show was sponsored spon-sored by the Sugar House Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce, with other civic and service clubs cooperating. Russel R. Shurtleff was general chairman of the affair, the directors direc-tors of Fairmont Park Boys' and Girls' club, also assisted in arranging arrang-ing the entertainment. It was a good show Stage performers were asked for request numbers and by-the-way the encores were paid for the money going to piano fund. One person said the Preview was worth a dollar of anyone's money. Contest winners for ticket sr-11-ing were Beth Garrick and La-Mar La-Mar Chapman. The first prize for the poster contest went to La-Vell La-Vell Jensen and Arlene Jones, and second prize to Dorothy Curtis Cur-tis and Norene Whipple. Prize winners were members of the Boys' and Girls' club. |
