Boring The problems of maintaining Rotary clubs at their utmost in the way of community service during these trying war times will be discussed in detail when C. D. (Charlie) Boring, governor of the 110th district, meets with officers and committee chairman of the local club on February 11. Govenor Boring also will meet with the entire Rotary membership member-ship at a luncheon meeting the; .same day. I Governor Boring, head of the district which comprises all of Utah anl southern Idaho, is com-1 pleting his tour of official . visits, .and brings first-hand information on how the several clubs are sur-1 mounting war-time difficulties to carry on and increase rather than curtail the amount of community service. Governor Boring has been impressed with the war activity in the Salt Lake, and Oglen region, re-gion, and has addressed Idaho clubs regarding the things he has seen here. A charter member of his home club at Buhl, Idaho, since 1920, Governor Boring made an attenl-ance attenl-ance record of 12 consecutive years without missing a meeting. He is one of 135 governors of Rotary International who are supervising the activities of 5100 clubs in 50 countries throughout the world. |
