Show 3 G Irving Summer School Opens Monday On Monday morning June 9th. the Irving Summer School will open at 8 o'clock for the second consecutive year. Last year 75 pupils attended the summer session ses-sion at Irving. With the rapid growth of our district our high school becomes the logical center for this activity. There is indications indica-tions that the enrollment will exceed ex-ceed last year's enrollment. Instrumental music will be offered of-fered for both elementary and high school levels Elementary pupils pu-pils will receive instruction in fifth, sixth and articulating unit work. High school subjects will be offered in those branches for which there is sufficient demand. ' Last year type, shorthand, plane geometry, algebra, ,mathatics, English En-glish and social science classes were formed. Many students need credit either eith-er for grade advancement or to matriculate at the University. A full year's credit may be earned in one subject or two semester credits may be gained in two subjects. sub-jects. The tuition is $6. for the season. School will be in session from 8 a. m. to 12 noon daily for six days a week for six weeks. |
