Show BOWLING Last week's Forest Ladies League Lea-gue at the Southeast Bowling Courts showed improvmed scores with the Pine team rolling 2055 and 753 for the high series and high game. Eva Bocker of the Palm team had 469 high individual indivi-dual series, and Pine's Lorraine Cleverly rolled 189 for high game. The teams now have a complete membership for the season. The Southeast League found new names in its head linen last week, and Dee's Hamburger moved into first place. Deseret Lumber had high series, 2848, while central Lumber had 999 for high game. Al Leich bowled 239 for the evening's high game, but P. Slotte came through with 648 to top seven 600 series rolled that night. Others were Joe Barney Bar-ney 634, E. Stonebraker 619, P. Cromar 614, C. P. Anderson 608, L. Quayle 606, and John Miller 600. On Wednesday night the Southeast South-east League is now led by Birrell Bottling which rolled 2667 for high series and 4 points, while Palace Market had 952 pin? for high game. F. McGregor of Phil and Joes team had 630 high series ser-ies and C. Jensen of the N. - O. Nelson outfit had 2J6 high game. Four points each went to Holsum Bakers, Foto Arts, and local 57. Friday night's Lumbermen's League has the Utah Pigeon Club in top place, and they took high series and game with 2622 and 920. John Holt hit 616 for high series and R. Avery of . U. S. Gypsum rolled a high 25 game. The Utah Drugless Health Clinic Clin-ic of the Cardinals Ladies League was the only team to take 4 points last Friday, but the South east Courts had 22757 high series and 8G0 for one game.- Iva Burnett Bur-nett of Michel's Roofing had a. nice series of 530 and Rae En-gelke En-gelke smashed the pins for individual indiv-idual high game of 223. Granite Mill and Fixture are in top place in the Sugarhouse Maj-j or League this week, but the Sugar Bowt rolled 2769 and 1051 for high scores. Hugo Ensign had 623 for high series, followed by C. P Anderson with 604. Ray Gilbert had 246 for high game, and this team continues its excellent excell-ent scores. In fact much comment is being heard about the high records re-cords being established at the Southeast so early in the season. ' |
