Show SUGAR HOUSE B.P.W. ELECT NEW OFFICERS Voting for new officers for the the ensuing year of the Business and Professional Women took place Monday evening at the home of Miss Minnie Garff, resulting re-sulting in the following women being chosen to lead the club: Mrs. Lillian Royle, president; Miss Evelyn Kidneigh, vice president; presi-dent; Mrs. Maurine Joseph, recording re-cording secretary; Miss LVer.'i McArtljur, corresponding secretary; secre-tary; Mrs. Irene Conniff, treasurer. Miss Garff took charge of the program of the meeting and gave members a well prepared piper on "Morale in this War Torn World." Miss Florence Greene gave an intesting reading and also assisted Miss Garff in arrangements ar-rangements for the evening, A huge birthday cake centered the serving table. The Sugar House Business and Professional Women will have been organized for a yeo.r on April 22, and the membership of the club has grown from the original twelve members to a membership of twenty-two. |
