Show U. of U. Research Conference Research conference on "The Identification of Creative Scientific Talent" will be held for the third summer, according to Dr. Calvin W. Taylor, U. of U. professor of psychology and the organizer of the conference. The conference is supported sup-ported by a grant from the National Science Foundation. Experts from throughout the nation will participate in the four Jays of meetings in Peruvian Lodge of Alta. Seclusion of the conference con-ference site located at the head of beautiful Little Cottonwood Canyon Can-yon in the Wasatch mountains lends to the atmosphere of the deliberations. delib-erations. Creative talent is an essential in this age of space. The participants par-ticipants will convene the evening of June 11 to hear papers on related topics of "The Identification Identi-fication of Creative Scientific Talent". Tal-ent". Delivering of papers by experts will continue June 12 and the morning of June 13, after which the conference will divide into sub-groups for its deliberations. Reports of the sub-groups will conclude the conference the afternoon after-noon of June 14. Among topics to be discussed are, "The college environment as a determinant of research potentiality,", potent-iality,", "The highly intelligent versus the highly creative adolescent; adol-escent; ( a summary of some research findings), ' Favorable and unfavorable working conditions reported by scientists at two research re-search centers", "Individual creativity cre-ativity in organized research :eams of scientists", and "Identification "Ident-ification and development of creativity cre-ativity in the early school years." An imposing group of educators from the nation's colleges will attend this important conference. Thosefrom the University of Utah participating in this event are: Dr. A. Ray Olpin, president of che University; Brewster Ghiselin, professor of English; Frank B.
