Kimball, 1819 South 9th East, are scheduled to complete the final phase of their six months active military training under the Reserves Forces Act program pro-gram April 4, at Fort Benjamin Ben-jamin Harrison, Ind. During this phase, the brothers bro-thers are receiving eight weeks of on the job training in the duties of a finance clerk. They are scheduled to spend the remainder of their military mili-tary service with the 96th Infantry Division at Fort Douglas, -Utah. iKenneth, 22, whpsel wife,, Patricia, lives at 2488 Chad-wick Chad-wick street, was employed by Wheelwright Lithographing Company before going on active duty. A 1937 graduate of South High School, he attended at-tended the University of Utah. About once a week I like to spend an afternoon browsing brows-ing around Sugar House getting get-ting acquainted with the people who read our paper and getting comments on how we can do a good job for them. This is one of the pleasantest tasks I have ever encountered. No matter how busy folks are they always have time to be friendly and helpful. Holger Larsen at the Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce is always full of news of what is going on. His information is always fresh and interesting and Virginia Baker in the same office is a veritable storehouse store-house of information which she dispenses with real charm and humor. Stopped by Zoe Frans Gift Shop and spent a delightful few minutes sampling perfumes and discussing business with Fran Watson. Then " I paused to say hello to Mr. and Mrs. Fankhauser and look around their beautiful store. Some of the lovely costume cos-tume jewelry they were displaying dis-playing made it hard for me to leave. I would have loved to stay and look for hours. Next on my tour was Walker's Danseuse. After chatting chat-ting with Mrs. Walker about the kind of wedding service she provides, I am sure that anyone who is confronted with i wedding: arrangements would do well to enlist Mer expert services. If you have ever tried to manage a wedding, no matter mat-ter how small, you know that you become so submerged in invitations, caterers, gown fittings, floral arrangements etc. that you hardly have time or energy left to enjoy the pre-nuptial parties. What a joy it would be to turn all of these chores over into her capable hands and just enjoy being the mother of the bride. I hope in the near future to visit in all of the stores in the area just to say hello, but this week I was combining a little shopping with my visiting. I can admit this because the boss never reads my column, so I drove over to Gallen Kamps to buy Easter shoes for my small. Busy as everyone was they all still found time to exchange a few friendly words about . my Great Dane who was filling up the back seat of the car with his hundred hun-dred and fifty pound bulk. Time and space limit a full report of the day's activities but I did find time to drool over the beautiful womens clothing being shown in all of the ladies shops and to say hello to lots of friends who have found as I have that if you want the friendliest service, the best values, a minimum of parking problems and a really pleasant environment, environ-ment, it pays to shop in Sugar House.
