Show iitjiimiiu Offers Classes Thursday night, January 7, an unusually fine variety of Parent Education Classes will begin at Highland High. As a result of a survey done at Back to School Night subjects most requested by patrons are being offered. Lecture classes are free of charge and include: "How to be a Good Parent", by D. Garron Brian; ,'-Hcwto -Stretch the Food Dollar::,-., by Mrs.-Louisa M. Woodmansee; and "Federal Income Tax for Individuals", by Terry S. Bradley. Also there will be offered eight to twelve week classes in Typewriting, Type-writing, Sewing, Machine Shop and Woodwork, with a small fee charged. Most of these classes will run for six or eight weeks and will last for two hours once a week. Registration for all classes will be held Thursday night, and are open to all patrons of Highland High. The class on Income Tax will be open to the entire city and will be the only oie of its kind offered in the city. Mrs. Louis E. Jeffs is Parent Education Chairman and responsible for setting up this worthwhile program. |
