Show V-1ij7'-v.a;,iST'::i .... Irry S Service Clubs KIWANIS CLUB OF SUGAR HOUSE Kiwanis Club of Sugar House held their regular meeting this Tuesday, September 8th, at Har-man's Har-man's Cafe. Featured speaker was Joseph L. Chandler, president of the Sugar House Chamber of Commerce, Com-merce, well known businessman, and for 5 years president of the Days of 47 and for 10 years parade chairman for the group. Invocation was given by Royal A. Watson. Mr. Chandler, who is a candidate can-didate for the office of mayor of Salt Lake City, shared honors with Miss Sugar House, PatHogan, and her attendants, Pamela Macey and Linda Derrick, who were present to greet the members. Keynote speaker for the convention con-vention at Idaho Falls to begin on September 11th, will be Kenneth Ken-neth W. Dyal, San Bernardino, Cal., it was announced by Dr. P. Blair Ellsworth, district governor gov-ernor of Kiwanis International. Other speakers will be the governor gov-ernor of Idaho, Robert E. Smylie, and Edward B. Moylan, Jr., of Miami, Fla. Hosts to the convention conven-tion are the Idaho Falls and the Upper Snake River Clubs. |
