Show Children See Elk At Hardware RancH The Fairmont School for Retarded Re-tarded Children made a Saturday excursion to Hardware Ranch in Cache valley to watch the Elk feeding- project. The party of 23 consisted of supervisor Ruthe Burg, public health nurse Marilyn Luck, volunteer mothers and the children. Every afternoon about four at the Fish and Game Elk refuge the animals come in for feeding. After getting off the bus at the Blacksmith Fork Canyon site, the party was bobsledded to the feeding feed-ing area where 400 elk were cared for. A lunch of sandwiches and soup was served and area activities were explained by Mr. Joe Bergener, Manager. This week end Miss Ruthe Burg will attend the Regional Meet of the Children's Bureau in Denver. Health services to all children especially es-pecially retarded ones will be the subject for discussion. Miss Burg returns Monday. |
