Westminster Choir Feature Musical For Seniors The Westminster Concert Choir will honcr graduating seniors of the College, Thursday at 9p.m. in the Stii'Vnt Lounge on the ihe "The Hnly City" by A.U Gaul. This will be the first of this type of program to be given annually on the eve of commence-ment in honor of the graduating class The choir is under hhe direct-ion of Professor James S.Vail, dir-ector, Department of Fine Arts of Westminster. The public is in-vited to the musical program. J. E. Moss Elected. President Of U. Emeritus Club A Holiaday man has been elect-ed president of the University of Utah Alumni Association Emeri-tus Club. New head of the club, which is composed of persons who gradua-ted from the university 50 or more years ago, is James E. Moss, 2059 E. 4800 South. Mr. Moss is an 1892 graduate of the U. of U. Mrs. Annie Clark Kimball "of 1432-llt- h East was re-elect- ed secretary - treasurer and Mrs. Mary D. White of 2945 Kenwood St. was named assistant secre-tary. Burton and Co. and the First Security Bank of Utah, N.A., and associates. Their bid was the lowest of two submitted to the Salt Lake Coun-ty Commission last week. Total interest rate on the bonds to finance operation of the district, will be 4.27 per cent. Interest will be 4.5 per cent through 1970 and 4.25 thereafter. Plans for the sewer district in-clude construction of a disposal plant. Holiaday Briefs Summer schedule for the Holla-da- y Community Church, 2631 E. 4800 South, went into effect last Sunday and includes a single ser-vice for both the worship service and the Church school at 10 a.m. each Sunday. |
