Show I 'Record Hop' Held By Pre-Teen Club Under the direction of their president, pre-sident, Bob Thompson, the Catholic Catho-lic Pre-Teen Club held their first affair in which members of the club were "on their own" in the preparation and planning of their party. They chose as their theme a "record hop," and the members brought their favorite records, and had a regular festival of music, mu-sic, in the Cosgriff Memorial School Auditorium of the St. Ambrose Am-brose Parish, 21st South and 23rd East, on the evening of Friday, November 29. Refreshments were served by the club members and an enjoyable enjoy-able evening was had by all who attended. . The annual dinner dance of the Utah Furniture Association was held at the Country Club Tuesday night, November 26. A combined party of retailers and wholesalers, the dance was attended by approximately approx-imately 150 people who came from all over the state. All retail and wholesale merchants, merch-ants, whether members of the Furniture Association or not, were invited. Chairman of the festivities festivi-ties was Ray Nilson, who was assisted as-sisted by co-chairman, Bob Gros-beck. |
