Show Manti Reunion Scheduled June 28 At Liberty Park If you live in Manti - or you ever have lived in the beloved, old town - we want you with us on June 28 J That's the date when all present pre-sent and former residents of the Temple City will hold their fifth annual reunion at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City. Why not plan to be there? The reunion will get under way with registrations at 10 a.m., and their will be lots of time for seeing old friends, getting get-ting up to date on what's been going on, and refreshing memories of the young days that were so wonderful in the "dear, old place. You can enjoy box lunches at noon - and then treat yourself your-self to the sound of Manti singing, Manti music, Manti voices once again at a 2 p.m. program in the bowery. Mistress of ceremonies will be Mrs. Evelyn Brown Lomax, Nephi, according to R. Easto Moffitt, former Manti mayor, who is president of the Manti Reunion Organization. Officers assisting Mr. Moffitt with this year's affair are Mrs. Ruby Madsen Despain, Salt Lake City, and E. C. Carlyle, Manti mayor, vice presidents; Miss Clara Farnsworth, Salt Lake City, secretary; Mrs. Maggie Barton Rowe, Salt Lake City, treasurer; Mrs. Vera Tuttle Jensen,. Salt Lake City, historian, and Alden K. Barton, Mrs. Effie Jolley McDonald, Mervin Billings and Harry Wintch, all Salt Lake City, members-at-large. |
