Other families in their church will have a hard time keeping up wit the Joneses. Mrs. Robert M. Jones has registered six of her seven children for vacation church school at Holladay Community Church (Congregational). They are Stephen, 14; Judith, 13; David, 11; Robin, 9; Susan, 7 and Ann, 5. Too young for this year's session js Bobby, 4. The Joneses got a bargain. Though the school costs a dollar a child, no family need pay more than three dollars. Mrs Jones hopes to line up rides for the six children by the time school starts August 5. She can't drive and Mr. Jones, who is superentendent of shop and utilities util-ities at the University of Utah, has a broken arm. So the family car has to stay put at 1896 Wood-side Wood-side Drive for the time being. The school at Holladay Community Comm-unity Church, 2631 East 48th South will run from 9 a.m. till 11:30, Mondays through Fridays, for two weeks. Late registrations will be taken at the church Sunday Sun-day morning. Dr. J. Peter Bercovitz, consultant consult-ant in Christian training at the church is in charge of the staff of 33. |
