The new Mrs. Maxfield attended the University of Utah where she was a member of the Lambda Delta Sigma and Phi Mu. The bridegroom filled an LDS mission in Eastern Canada and also attended attend-ed the University. She has been the inspiration for many prenuptial parties and hostesses host-esses have included Mrs. Gallacher, Mrs. Conrad Maxfield, Miss Whyte, Mrs. Ezra T. Palmer, Mrs. G. S. Shurtliff, and Mrs. Hutchins. One of the most attractive brides" of the season is lovely Mrs. Merrill Mer-rill T. Maxfield the former Marlene Anderson. ' The young couple exchanged vows in the solemnity of the Salt Lake Temple Friday. Immediately following the ceremony the young couple was honored at a wedding breakfast at the home of the bridegroom's bride-groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grant W. Maxfield, 2195 East 3205 South. The Reception Center was the setting for the reception feting the newly-weds, hosted by the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell E. Anderson, 2805 Alden St. The charming bride greeted her friends in a gowTi of Chantilly lace over satin. The scoop neckline was outlined with sequins and pearls. Fashioned with long sleeves and floor-length skirt which fell from a waist line that tapered to a point in front and ruffled in back. Attending the bride was Miss Marilyn Whyte, maid of honor; Mrs. Gordon Crawford and Mrs. Jerry Gallacher, sisters of the bridegroom, and Mrs. Jim Hutch- |
