Show Hadassah Group Entertains Jeanne Holland was hostess at a Sarah Coventry jewelry showing Monday evening. The jewelry show was directed by Bob Zuercher and the evening was spent modeling and trying on over two hundred different items. The guests included Edna Edwards, Sharon Edwards, Lillie Holland, Barbara Nelson, Audrey Holland, Guilda Whit-aker, Whit-aker, Anne Weight, Janet Biedsguard, Beverly King and Lavonne Carruth. Light refreshments were served by the hostess. Hold Luncheon Mrs. Ted Burnett was hostess at a lovely luncheon meet for members of the Salt Lake Chapter Chap-ter of Hadassah Wednesday at her home, 6133-2300 E. Street. Mrs. Max Siegel, former president of the chapter, who recently returned from a trip to the Mideast, reported on the condition of Israel. She noted the vocational schools for boys and girls, the mother ana child welfare clinics and health center near Jerusalem. Hadassah is also building a modern hospital which stood on Mt. Copus, now a part of Jordan. Mrs. Irwin Arnovitz, chapter president was in charge of the luncheon arrangements. Mrs. Jerry Landa and Mrs. Mortimer Rothenburg assisted Mrs. Arno-vitz. |
