Show Wednesday afternoon. Mr. V. Jorgensen was host for ten guests at dinner Thursday even in A dinner party was held Friday Fri-day evening by the Mountain; States Telephone Co. The dinner was in honor of Mr. James I McMillen who has been a loyal employee of the Company for the last forty years. Mrs. P. Packard entertained for fifty ladies at luncheon, Saturday. Sunday Irene Warr and Mrs. Shirley Zabel were hostesses for a breakfast for eighteen members mem-bers of the Alpha Pi Chapter. It Happened at The BEAU Mrs. Jofjcph Stevenson was hostess Monday at 1 00 pan. at a luncheon which she gave for twenty-two guests. Mrs. Jack Davis and four friends enjoyed lunch and cards Monday afternoon. Phi Delta Delta, International Legal Fraternity for Women. These ladies are students of law or are practicing attorneys. The breakfast was a social gathering and the group injoyed swimming afterwords at the home of Mrs. Samuel Areatz. On Tuesday Mrs. S.S. Sumner entertained six at luncheon. ' Mrs. James H. Hance gave a birthday dinner for Mrs. H. E. Havenor on Tuesday. Guests included in-cluded Mr. H. E. Havenor, and Pauline Fairbanks of Corvalis, Oregon. After dinner the party enjoyed the movie "Around the World in 80 davs". Wednesday afternoon Mrs. W. A. Anderson was hostess for six people at a luncheon. That evening Mr. Harry Coombs enjoyed dinner with eight guests. Mrs. Guy Lewis made arrangements for lunch Thursday for twelve friends. All twelve are former Logan residents, res-idents, some of whom now live out of the state. They try to get together each summer. Mrs. Hazel Ralph and eight guests met for lunch and bridge |
