Show COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS by Kaye Barn urn Memorial weekend is observed in many ways by different families, but I think one of the nicest ways I have heard of spending memorial day is such as the N. P. Johnson family does. In memory of their an-cesters an-cesters who have passe on they have a family reunion. This year their reunion was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Davis 8120 Danish Road. Neiomi Davis is the daughter of N. P. Johnson. The day was spent partially at the Davis home and then moved on to Glacier Park in the mouth of Little Cottonwood Cotton-wood Canyon for the rest of the days observance. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Edger Mitchell of Murray, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Davis and son of Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Maughan, Preston, Idaho; and Mr. and Mrs. Roy , Maughan from Ogden. Others joining the reunion were Dr. and Mrs. Jack Parry of Price; Mr. and Mrs. James Johnson and family, Rock Springs, Wyoming. Motoring down frfcim Odgen were Mr. and Mrs. John Chid-ester Chid-ester and family and Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. Brentley Mitchell and family. Terry Neff, 7505 Butler Hill Drive, slipped down the mountainside. moun-tainside. Terry seized a rock and prevented his falling into the creek, but Maynard was not so lucky. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Wyane S. Marble 7071 South 2930 East, who become new parents May 25th. Monty Montgomery, 2757 Carol Drive, returned horns from Pennsylvania to meet his new son, Larry, who put in hii appearance while daddy was away. Tex and Babs Winslow, 2775 Pamelo Drive, just returned from a trip to Ft. Collins, Colo, where daughter, Dottie, is attending at-tending college. The Tri-Delt sorority, to which Dottie belongs, be-longs, held their family day with an open house for the parents of the girls. Dottie was elected "Aggie Angel" by the Air ROTC on Campus, which is quite an honor in as much as it . is judged upon Scholastic standing and student activities. And I'm sure Dottie's beauty and charm didn't hurt a bit. The Winslows are expecting a house guest this week as Buzz Gunnison flys in from San Mrs. McKnight had driven the boys up the canyon so they could hike back down the road to their homes.
