with verdant green paint that it was about time the latest sleeper had arisen and besides as margot of the paintbrush knew there was nobody in the cottage next door but a certain very diverting two year old lassie named peggy and her mother why the alarm clock for the gregory cottage and the kenyon denyou cottage located in ahr middle of a cozy little pine wood not far from the lake were the only habitations for a mile or so there it was that margot and her brother spent their vacation and weekends and because maggots Mar gots brother had merely grunted vague promises every time she suggested that he put a much needed coat of paint on the little doll dollhouse bouse cottage she had finally made up her mind to paint it herself suddenly without tiny any warning the ladder slipped and ma margot agot wits was left sitting 0 on the ledge of tho the sloping root roof she worked her way along until she reached one of the windows her feet dangled just above it she tried to persuade herself lier that slie she enjoyed sitting there looking through the pine trees 1 I wonder if I 1 shall have to sit here all day till tom gets home how hungry I 1 shall bel be y she he was reflecting
