Show State Leaders To Attend GOP Women's Tea Several prominent state Republican Re-publican women leaders will be special guests at the Republican Repub-lican Women's tea to be held at the Earl Dillman residence, Wednesday, Oct. 20, between the hours of . 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. Main speaker for the occasion occa-sion will be Mrs. Vern McCul-lough, McCul-lough, program chairman of the Republican Women's Clubs of Utah, who has traveled extensively exten-sively and is noted for her world-wide knowledge of government gov-ernment affairs and for her fluency flu-ency as a speaker. Accompanying Accompany-ing Mrs. McCullougn will be Mrs. Hazel Chase, state president; presi-dent; and Mrs. Alex Jex. Republican Re-publican national committee woman for the state of Utah.. Mrs. J. Bracken Lee, Utah's first lady, plans to also be in attendance if her busy schedule sched-ule can be arranged. Several Republican Re-publican women from Vernal will also attend. Among musical talent to be presented during the evening will be selections by Miss Esther Wogec and Mrs. Sheldon Fitzgerald, Fitz-gerald, vocalists; Mrs. Lorin Alexander Al-exander and Miss Laura Ann Leavitt, pianists. The public is cordially invited invit-ed to attend the tea, which is being sponsored by the Roosevelt Roose-velt organization, headed by Mrs. J. O. Orser as president. All Republican Women's groups in the Basin are especially urged to attend. |
