Members, officers inducted On Dec. 17 the Woods Cross High School FBLA (Future Business Busi-ness Leaders of America) held their installation ceremony. Each year the club nominates members to be officers. The officers are sworn in at this ceremony as well as the new members. At this year's ceremony an area representative from both state and national FBLA chapters swore in the new members. The speaker was Fred Volcasif, a respected businessman busi-nessman and co-producer of the Miss Universe Pageant. This year's officers are Carrie Halford, president; Tammie Toller and Danna Redmond, vice presidents; presi-dents; Sheree Gardiner, secretary; Jennie Thatcher, historian; and Darrin Gunnell and Paul Benson, publicity managers with Mrs. Hosi- nager as advisor. This year's club members plan to participate in the Festival of Trees, fence decorating for Woods Cross homecoming, as well as many other activities. The members look forward to an exciting year as well as gaining some experience in business and business management. |
