Show Ellen Bracken Visit Mother On Her Birthday Sons and daughters and their families called at the home of their mother, Mrs. Pearl Jenkins Jen-kins on Sept. 5, which was heu birthday. One daughter. Mrs. I Garn Bodily, of Salt Lake, was unable to join in the reunion. Those greeting their mother were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jenkins, of Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. George Funk, of Myton; Mr. and Mrs. Mariner McMullin, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Walquist, Randlett; Mr. and Mrs. Lyrad McConkie, Mt. Emmons; Mr. and Mrs. Jay Jenkins, Myton; Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. Junior Jenkins, Ballard. Twenty five of her 29 grandchildren grand-children called during the day. Miss Joanne Todd went to Vernal last Monday to help serve at the Homecoming for I Mrs. Eva Ashion. All girls in the Basin who had attended Girls State this year were invited in-vited to the affair. Mrs. Russei Todd accompanied her daughter. Mrs. S. B. Kettle, Mrs. ElrHe Secrest and Mrs. Max Gardner-visited Gardner-visited at the home of Mrs. Ada Pickup in Randlett on Monday of last week. Bishop Golden Collins made . a trip to Ogden last Monday to j take his son, Boyd, to enroll at school for another year. Mr. and Mrs. James Coston and family, of Ashley, spent last weekend at the E. C. Coston home. Mrs. Nadine Surgeon, of Ore -1 gon. and Miss parol Page, of Nebraska, two teachers at Al-1 terra, are rooming at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bingham. Bing-ham. Squire Mangum has bee 1 hauling peaches in for Ballard Ward members. Wendel Johnson and his son, Phillip, made a trip to Sa'.t Lake City on Saturday, returning return-ing the same day. Mr. Johnson went out for supplies for the seminary. Joanne Todd went to Provo Saturday with Dolores Hut-cheon, Hut-cheon, Cleo Allred and Dorothy Doro-thy Ellertson, of Roosevelt, to attend the football game. They ' also spent a little time in Salt 1 Lake City before returning I home Sunday. Mrs. S. A. Brighton and Al-den Al-den White were home mission aries in the Roosevelt Second Ward Sunday night. Mrs. Ernest ! Getts and Mrs. Geo. Bracken accompanied ac-companied R. L. Nielson, of 1 Roosevelt, to Randlett as home missionaries. They attended Sunday School there also. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hullinger and three of their daughters J were guests at the Royal Hor-i Hor-i rocks home in Neola last week, j Dr. Don Johnson and Mr. and iMrs. John H. Cook were home missionaries at Sacrament meet ing Sunday evening. |
