Show Youngsters Enjoy Birthday Party A good time was had by the 16 youngsters who gathered at the Elmer Giggey home Thursday Thurs-day afternoon to help celebrate Sandra's 9th birthday. Those present were Jimmie Markey, George, John, Michael, and Elaine Pappas, Anna Bell Brandt, Sharon Eskelson. Carrol Car-rol Lynn and Marie Wright, Margie Farnsworth and Sandra, Dennis, Linda and Richard Giggey. Gig-gey. Mrs. Cleo Pappas helped entertain en-tertain the youngsters and assisted as-sisted with the serving. Mr. and Mrs. Denver Long, of White River, spent Sunday with Mrs. Long's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Duvall. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Arnold have both been ill with flu. They had been reported much better, but on Friday Mrs. Arnold had a relapse and was taken to the Roosevelt hospital Saturday Morning. . Al Semken cut his hand quite badly Monday while cranking his car and h?d to have three stitches taken to close the wound, Mrs. Robina Ferguson spent the week-end with her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Wm. Blanchard. of Montwel. Mrs. Robina Ferguson received re-ceived word from her son. Pvt. Gene Ferguson, who is stationed at Fort Benning, Ga., that he is being shipped to Germany. Mrs. Alice Burke, her son, Darrell, and daughter. Mrs. Katie Ka-tie Basie, all of Idaho Falls, visited vis-ited at the Alex Duvall home on Memorial Day. On Thursday of last week. Gusher friends of Mrs. Jesse McCarrell, of Myton, received word that she had suffered a stroke and had been taken to the Roosevelt hospital in a critical cri-tical condition. Mrs, McCarrell is 81 years old. Her family has all been called to her bedside. The McCarrells lived in Gusher for 34 years before moving to Myton, where they have resided for the past six years. Leland Wright has moved his family to Provo, where they have a home. Mr. Wright will return to Gusher where he has business interests to attend to, for part of the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Pt Markey visited vis-ited last Wednesday evening in Rposeyelt at Mrs. Velva Galloway's Gallo-way's home with Dr. and Mrs. D- L. Galoway, of Portland, Oregon, Or-egon, who came home for Memorial Me-morial Day, |
