Jensen County Agricultural Agent This week the inseminators for our two artificial breeding dairy groups are in Logan to attend at-tend a special school. This school is scheduled for two weeks, and through this extra training our men will be able to give even better service to our dairymen. Artificial breeding is proving to be successful in this area and has enjoyed a steady growth since it began last December. It appears that there is a good possibility of obtaining a practicing prac-ticing veterinarian to locate in the Uintah Basin. Kenneth Buv-ritt, Buv-ritt, a graduate veterinarian from Fort Collins, Colorado, met with a group of stockmen this week to discuss a plan for locating lo-cating here. A committee has been appointed ap-pointed to contact the people in each community relative to this. You are urged to be ready to discuss it when your representative repre-sentative sees you. Anyone in Duchesne county who wants his cows tested, or calves vaccinated for Bangs disease dis-ease should notify the County Agent's office immediately. Anyone wanting the help of L. L. Hall, our alfalfa seed specialist, spe-cialist, should call mv office, ! phone 174, or Mr. Hall's home, phone 225-R, 1 |
