Show Randiett By Mrs. Viola Jensen Hosts Stake At Monthly Meeting The Avalon ward , Primary was host at Stake Preparation meeting Saturday. President Donna , Pickup conducted. The project was given by Jennie McMullen. The scripture reading read-ing was given by Verda Jor-gensen. Jor-gensen. Officers and teachers attending were: Donna Pickup, Jennie McMullen, Veda Jorgen-sen, Jorgen-sen, Alice Wall, Hannah Harris, Nellie Harris, Nadine Wardle, Carolyn Stoddard, Leah Chandler Chand-ler and Viola Jensen. Visitors at the Avalon school Tuesday were Supt. Max Abbott and Primary Supervisor. Beatrice Bea-trice Stringham. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Adams, of Dry Fork, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Hall, of Vernal, and Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Adams, of Orem, visited Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wall. Newell New-ell Anderson with a wrist watch from all the officers and teachers teach-ers of the 'MIA, Tuesday evening in apprication for his faithful service in the MIA. J. P. Stevens, of Salt Lake City, spent Tuesday and Wednesday Wed-nesday visiting at the J. E. Jensen Jen-sen home. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wall received re-ceived word that they have a new grandson. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Wall, of Salt Lake City. Neldon and Veda Wall, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend week-end visiting at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wall. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon J. Lewis Lew-is and family, of Vernal, visited visit-ed Wednesday at the J. E. Jensen Jen-sen home. Miss Beatrice Chandler spent the weekend visiting her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. William Chandler. Donna Pickup, Marion Taylor and Nellie Harris were sustained sustain-ed as Relief Society visiting teachers. Nadine Wardle was sustained as choral director and Leah Chandler as Seagull teacher teach-er in the Primary. Jessie Pickup Pick-up was released as attendance secretary of the YWMIA and Jean Stoddard was sustained in her olace. NEW SUPERINTENDENCY The Sunday School superin-tendency superin-tendency was released and Drayden Foster was sustained as Sunday School superintendent superinten-dent with Fahy Durfee as first counselor and Herbert Harris as secretary. Stake Sunday School visitors were Harold Crapo and LaRue Burgess. |
