Show I Raedlett Mrs. J. E. Jensen GROUP HAS PARTY The two Beehive groups and their mothers met Tuesday evening eve-ning at the home of Peggy Wardle.. The group enjoyed singing sing-ing several fun songs. They prepared' pre-pared' a meal which was cooked over a campfire. After the delicious deli-cious meal the girls played games. Albert Harris had a minor operation op-eration at the Uintah Basin Hospital, Hos-pital, recently. HOLD FACULTY MEETING The Sunday school faculty meeting meet-ing was held Thursday evening at the ward house. Mrs. Nina Clark accompanied her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Jorgensen home last Sunday and spent the day visiting them. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Chandler and new baby of Salt Lake City spent the weekend visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William T. Chandler. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Chandler and family of Springville spent Saturday visiting relatives here. Mrs. Beoma Dudley and daughter, daugh-ter, Vicky, of Salt Lake City were at the home of Mr .and Mrs. Harold Har-old Dudley over the weekend. Mrs. Elda Gillian of Sandy, Albert Al-bert Barney and Miss Nancy Hig-ginson Hig-ginson of Salt Lake City were weekend visitors at the home of Mrs. Gillian's and Mr. Barney's parents, Mr., and Mrs. Ray Barney. Mr. Fahy Durfee and daughter, Denna, and son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Durfee Dur-fee of Salt Lake City spent the weekend visiting friends here. Mr. Melton Stoddard who has stayed with them this summer accompanied accomp-anied them. Melton will stay . at home and help his father in the store. Mr. and Mrs- Lawrence C. Wall Jr. and family of Indio, Calif, arrived Saturday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Lawrence C. Walker, Sr. where they will spend their vacation. WiLlard Wall and daughter, Deon, of Salt Lake City spent the weekend visiting his. parents. Mr. and Mrs. LaVem Coats and family of Salt Lake City attended Sacrament meeting . here Sunday. Mrs. Coats will be remembered as Miss Fern Oldham who taught school here a number of years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Tomilson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Abe Hatch and daughter, Betty, attend- ed all Sunday's meetings here. The Hatches and Tomilsons are moving to Vernal for the winter-where winter-where their children wili attend school. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Pickup and family spent a few days in Salt Lake City during the week visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Taylor and daughter, Diane, spent the latter part of the week visiting relatives in Clearfield. Mr- and Mrs. Leo Jorgensen and family of American Fork spent Saturday visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Jorgensen Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marshall had their son named Sunday. His grandfather gave him the name, Rodney Wade. BIRTHDAY PARTY Mrs- Hazel Brough entertained Monday evening in honor of her daughter's fourteenth birthday. WARD HAS REUNION The Avalon ward reunion was held Monday on the Green River meadows. Austin Wardle was the master of ceremonies. The group enjoyed picnic lunches.
