Now combine soup and sour cream and pour over the entire casserole. Sprinkle with any amount of chopped parsley and sliced mushrooms. Bake at 325 degrees de-grees uncovered, for Vi hours or until done. This casserole is good prepared the day before, as flavors are enhanced. CHICKEN ALA KING Vi cup butter 23 cup flour 1 cup chicken broth, strained 1 cup half and half 1 cup milk 3-4 cups cubed cooked chicken , : 1 cup mushrooms, sliced 1 cup cooked peas Va cup green pepper, finely chopped ' cup pimiento, finely chopped 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper paprika BLEND BUTTER with flour, ; broth, half and half and milk and cook over low heat for 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and heat to boiling point and serve in patty shells. The patty shells may be purchased at the market, frozen. Serves 12-15. SWEET & SOUR CHICKEN Vi cup red Russian dressing Half envelope onion soup mix Va cup pineapple-apricot jam 1 tsp. dry mustard COMBINE ALL ingredients and pour over one cut up chicken, placed in a shallow baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serves 4. Becky is the daughter of Brent and Jody Epperson and they live in Bountiful as do Barbara Howell and husband Dee. They have been residents there for 27 years. They are parents of four children and eight grandchildren and they all enjoy en-joy eating at grandma's home. BARBARA says, "All the children chil-dren are good cooks and have fun as a family when Christmas candy making time is here. The prune cake recipe has been handed down from generation to generation." Dee has been in the produce business for more than 33 years before be-fore retirement, "so good food has always been an important part of our lives," Barbara continued.
