FUTURE development and the continuing growth of this city has a vital impact upon every citizen of this community. Mr. Argyle is concerned con-cerned about greater emphasis toward to-ward the compliance of city ordinances ordi-nances and the cleaning up of the many "eye sore" areas of the city. He has a life long love for the people peo-ple and the city of Woods Cross and is concerned about its present and future growth. He asks for citizen involvement and the spirit of cooperation to make Woods Cross a better place to live. t RALPH T. ARGYLE A spirit of cooperation for the citizens of Woods Cross, working together to improve the city and solve its problems, will make it a better city to live in. Ralph T. Argyle made this statement as he announced his intentions to run for mayor. MR. ARGYLE was born in Woods Cross and has been a life time resident. He is an honest, solid citizen and is the long time owner and operator of the Argyle Dairy on 11th West. Running his own business has improved his knowledge of money management and has assisted him in becoming well acquainted with new and old residents of the city. Mr. Argyle has driven a Davis County school bus for 29 years. His bus has always delivered the children to the Woods Cross Elementary School. He has traveled the city streets daily and is well acquainted with their boundaries, bound-aries, condition, and their needs of improvement. RALPH is no stranger to city government. He has served 12 years as a Woods Cross City Councilman Coun-cilman and for four of those years he served as Mayor Protem. His experience includes improvement of city streets, including the repaying repay-ing of the city's main streets, and the installation of city street lights. He served 8 years with the Water District and during this time he was instrumental in creating the Water Loop from 2600 South through the |
