Show sxsxssxsxsxsxsxssxssxsxs MT. EMMONS Mr;s, Arthur Snow gave a party for Lola Lucas Wednesday night at the Snow home. Those present were Mrs. Leslie Beebe, Pattie Thacker, Vera Rogers, Eva Dean Crosby, May Crosby, Albert Perkins, Mrs. Henry Tid-well, Tid-well, Mrs. Melvin Foote and Mrs. Stella Davis. Mrs. Lucas will join her husband in California where he is now stationed. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Stevenson Steven-son are visitors of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Thacker during Easter vacation. A dance and shower was given giv-en in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Pace of Bonita. Many people were present from Mt. Emmons. The music was furnished by the Duchesne orchestra. Altamont held Parent and Teachers' Day Friday. A birthday supper was given in honor of Miss Pattie Thacker Thack-er at her home Thursday evening,. even-ing,. Those . present were Miss Vera and June Rogers, Miss Eva Dean and May Crosby, Mrs. Maurine Foote, Mrs. Stella Davis Dav-is and Mr: and Mrs. Wesley Thacker. Pete Wall was an Easter guest of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Burk Shiner of Butte, Montana, are here on a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Axel Pierson, Rowley, and son were visitors at Mt. Emmons Friday afternoon. after-noon. Arnold Chatwin has been a visitor at Mt. Emmons this past week. Pete Wall and family are expecting ex-pecting to leave Tuesday for Portland, Oregon, where they will make their home. John Tidwell and relatives were visitors at Mt. Emmons Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Monson, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Monson were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Thacker Sunday. The Easter Sunday school gathering ga-thering was presented by the young folks of Mt. Emmons. A farewell party was given for Tom Richards in Mt. Home April 6. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Thacker furnished the music. Tom left for the army April 10. |
