Show i Impressive Service Held For Victim Of Accident A most regretable accident oc-cured oc-cured Monday just shortly before be-fore noon as Cyrus Larsen ran over the little fifteen month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Larsen, Lar-sen, with his truck. Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Larsen had come to the home of their son to take care of the children while Bernard and Mary" went to Salt Lake for Bernard to take his physical ex-amtinaion ex-amtinaion to enter the armed forces. As Cyrus Larsen was backing out of the yard in his truck, he stopped to fix his radiator radi-ator cap and then noticed the little fellow had run under the truck and had been fatally injured. in-jured. They started to Vernal for medical assistance but before they had gone very far, the child died. The child, Boyd Cyrus Larsen Lar-sen was born at Provo January 6, 1943; he is survived by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Cy-rus Larsen of Roosevelt, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Brady of Salt Lake City, his parents, Bernard and Mary Brady Larsen, two brothers, broth-ers, Lawrence, aged 9, Roger aged 7, and one sister, Mary Ann aged 3. - Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock in the Roosevelt Chapel Wednesday under the direction of the Roosevelt Bishopric with Horace J. Ritchie in charge. The prayer at the home was offered by Bishop Ritchie; a trio consisting consist-ing of Donna Rae and Renee Labrum and Norma Call accom-pied accom-pied by Mrs. Lela Labrum sang, "Forbid Them Not"; Paul Murphy Mur-phy offered the invocation; B. O. Colton spoke; A. A. Rigby accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. LaVerne Heiner sang, "The Dream of Yesterday"; Ray E. Dillman spoke; Bishop Ritchie expressed the appreciation of the family for the many kind things done for them; Avard Rigby and Mrs. Helen Burgess accompanied by Mrs. Heiner sang "Whispering Hope"; Carlyle Reynolds offered the denediction; Bishop Ritchie dedicated "the grave; the pallbearers pall-bearers were Lloyd Labrum, Lyle Brady, Leo Hancock and Sergeant Pat Hancock. The interment inter-ment was in the Roosevelt cemetery. |
