Show Festival Climaxes Primary Activity The climaxing event of the year for the Roosevelt Stake Primary Association was the children's Song and Dance Festival Fes-tival arid parade held Monday afternoon in Roosevelt. Festivities Festivi-ties commenced at 2 p. m. with a colorful parade down Main Street with between 300 and 500 children in pioneer costumes, participating. The lfne of march disbanded at the City Park where the youngsters reassembled to present pre-sent a .'surprisingly perfected song and dance festival for the enjoyment of an appreciative audience. The culmination of the of the afternoon's activity was the braiding of the Harvest Pole by the Primary graduates of the various wards. An annual Primary event of the Roosevelt Stake, this year's , celebration was directed by Phvllis-WarrilA and F.rma AnHpr. ton, music and dance; Carrie Wills, pajade; James Bacon, properties and the marshalling of the street. Dicia Emert, Ven-etta Ven-etta Kelsey, Ardis Kettle, Verda Campbell, Amanda Henrie and Kate Peterson assisted in trie presentation of, the festival. |
