Thursday afternoon the Bluebird Blue-bird girls and Seagulls of the Primary, with their leaders, Mrs. Delores Corbin and Mrs. Edith Timothy, gave a Hallowe'en party par-ty for the Lark girls and their leader, Mrs. Mable Maxfield. Mrs. Thora Timothy was operated op-erated on Tuesday in the Salt Lake L D S hospital for a stomach stom-ach obstruction. Her husband and sons and daughters-in-law were with her. They returned Thursday with the report that Mrs. Timothy is recovering nice- A number of people from here attended quarterly conference at Mt. Emmons, Sunday. Felix Balliz, of Fresno. Calif., Mathalyn Atwood, student at the BYU at Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon W. (Dick) Smith, of Salt Lake City, spent the deer season as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ty Kolb. Mrs. Smith, Miss Atwood are Mrs. Kolb's sisters. The party returned to their homes at the termination of the season, each with his deer. Mr. Balliz remained re-mained in Altonah to take part in the pheasant hunt. Mrs. Ty Kolb attended the Hallowe'en party given by the Ft. Duchesne Women's club on October 8. She won first prize for her costume. |
