Show Boneta j Mrs. Opal Barlon Mrs. Opal Barton had as dinner din-ner guests on her birthday anniversary, an-niversary, March 25, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Mower and Mr, and Mrs. Ferrell Mower and son, John, of Talmage. A surprise party was held at the home of Raymond McMillan on March 20? commemorating his birthday anniversary. A surprise party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Brotherson on Thursday, honoring honor-ing Mrs. Brotherson's father, William Jessen. The evening was spent visiting and playing cards. Lovely refreshments were served to Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Reynolds, Mr. and Mrs. Will Potter, Mr. and Mrs. Will Cook, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Tidwell, Lorna Cook, Pauline Potter, Donna Reynolds, Dorothy Brotherson and the guest of honor. The AAA agent for this area met with a number of local men on Friday. Mrs. Alice Swasey and Mrs. Jennie Brotherson visited with Mrs. Hannah Oman Friday afternoon. after-noon. A large crowd attended the operetta at Altamont, Fridav night. Lorna Cook, Pauline Potter, Chad Evans, Bill Pearson, Donna Reynolds and Marvin Swasey took part in the operetta. Attending the old time dance at Altamont on Saturday night were President and Mrs. Wm. N. Brotherson, Mr. and Mrs. Napier Swasey, Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Brotherson and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie N. Pearson. Reports are that our Boneta ladies were very beautifully gowned in old fashioned fash-ioned costumes. Mr. and Mrs. Lavor Oman and Mrs. Ardith Johanson visited the Talmage ward Sacrament meeting meet-ing on Sunday. Evan Bennion, of Mt. Emmons, visited in Boneta at Sacrament meeting on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Will Potter, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Tidwell and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Barton shopped in Duchesne, Saturday. John Ping was a guest at the Potter home, Sunday. Wesley Reynolds, who is employed em-ployed in Colorado, spent the week visiting home folks and friends. Roy Warren made a trip to Bluebell and Duchesne on Saturday. Satur-day. Ncldon Taylor, of Mt. Home, is now employed at the Warren ranch. |
