Those from Altonah attending P.T.A, at Altamont, Saturday night were Mr. and Mrs. Dave (Carroll, Mr. and Mrs. Linford Maxfield, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Allred, Bishop and Mrs. Lester Maxfield, Mrs. George Carroll, Mrs. Vendetta Clark and Mrs. Fern Miller. C. N. Shiner, who has been in Colorado, Idaho and Wyoming visiting, spent a few days in town last week. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Barker and daughter, of Idaho, are visiting vis-iting Mrs. Barker's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Les Shiner. Dallas Ames was treated last week at . the Roosevelt hospital for blood poison iri his hand. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Lundell and family, of Myton, spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. Lundell's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Clark. Dr. Bourne, of Roosevelt, was called to Altonah Tuesday by the illness of Rex Fowler. Rex has been ill for two weeks, but was thought some better until Tues-I Tues-I day when he suffered a relapse. Mr. and Mrs. Jennis Oman and daughter, Gloria, of Salt Lake City, spent a few days with Mrs. Oman's parents, Mr. and Mrs. IHans Jacobson. Brigham, 89 years old, and Charlie N. Shiner, 84 years old, Altonah's two oldest citizens, were at the polls to cast their votes on Tuesday. E. L. Murphy, of Upalco, and Earl Case, of Mt. Emmons, were in Altonah visiting Donna Farns-worth Farns-worth on Wednesday. Donna is still seriously ill. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Petty, Mrs. Jenny Petty and Walter Petty, of Salt Lake City spent the weekend with relatives in Altonah. Lloyd Palmer returned to Salt Lake with them to spend a few days. |
