Potatoes dug so far are yielding well with yields of 400 bushels per acre. Returning home from deer hunting every man with buckskin were Bp. Edmund Webb and son, Ben and Clayton Webb, Allen Drollinger anj son, Clifford and Dee, Garret Stone, James Lemon and Russel Robison. Mrs. Violet Gentry returned home Sunday from Salt Lake city where she has been with her daughter, Miss Elizabeth Gentry who underwent an operation at the L D S hospital. Elizabeth was moved from the hospital Thursday Thurs-day to the home of Dr. and Mrs. L. S. Saunders where she makes her home. She is a teacher in the Elementary school in Granite district. James B. Lemon and Thomas Gentry brought their cattle down Saturday evening, having spent the week on the round up of the Dry Dulch cattle association. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Nelson of Upalco visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James P. Lemon Sunday. Wm. J. Faucet t has the school bus running again this week having hav-ing spent most of last week repairing re-pairing the motor, Lamar Richens driver of the Arcadia bus took t.he children to school last week. Mrs. Simmonson of Monroe visited a few days last week with her sister in law, Eliza Robison. Mrs. John Bryre of San Jan-cinito, Jan-cinito, California, is visiting her daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gentry. Reed Lemon, 4-H club leader entertained the club boys at a water melon bust Monday evening even-ing at his home. |
