Mrs. Rebecca Justice who lives with her son, Elba Justice and family at Myton visited the past week with Mrs. Elizabeth Nebe- Eva Mecham, Mrs. Ina Johnson John-son and Lorna Caldwell of Vernal Ver-nal visited at the home of Elmer Caldwell on Tuesday. Mrs. Agnes Walker and children chil-dren visited in Salt Lake City the past week. Three children of Mr. Walker's brother accompanied accompan-ied her home for a visit. Miss Elda Hackford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hackford arrived home after visiting in California with Mr. and Mrs. Willis Hackford. She reports Mrs. Hackford very ill in a hospital hos-pital there. They were former residents of Lapoint. Bishop George R. Hacking and family made a trip to Salt Lake City during the week. Mrs. Lyman Cox of Draper is visiting her son, Loyal and family. fam-ily. Russel Harrison and family of Salt Lake City visited relatives here during the week. He and his son also enjoyed a fishing trip in Whiterocks canyon. Mrs. Mary Taylor returned to her home in Ogden, after visiting visit-ing her daughter, Mrs. Jessie Neumeycr the past month. Mrs. Neumeycr accompanied her home. Mr. and Mrs. Dclos Searle received re-ceived a letter from Lloyd Ras-mussen Ras-mussen who has been in the Marine Corp the past three years. He said he was in a fox hole in Saigan Island writing the letter Mrs. George Graham left Thursday for Salt Lake City to receive medical care. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lee returned return-ed Wednesday from Salt Lake City, Mrs. Lee is much improved in health having undergone a major operation at the Holy Cross hospital. The 4-H club, under the direction direc-tion of their leader, June Huber held a weener roast and slumber party at her home on Thursday night. Mrs. Lamont Nelson and baby returned to Lapoint Thursday after af-ter spending the past three months in Texas with her husband hus-band who has been taking training train-ing there. He was trapsferred to Louisiana. Mrs. Sadie Bywaters and daughter of Myton are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kumps and other relatives here. Dorothy Caldwell and Rose Mary Searle, leaders of the 1st year 4-H club and members enjoyed en-joyed an over night party up Deep Creek on Friday night. Nilah Perry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Perry of Vernal Ver-nal visited at the home of Thur-mer Thur-mer Rasmussen during the week. Mrs. Charles Taylor, Sr., took suddenly ill on Tuesday night. She has been at the Valley hospital hos-pital in Vernal the past week. Craig Caldwell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Caldwell and Donald Rasmussen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Rasmussen. who have joined the paratroopers, were at Ft. Douglas the past week. They visited with home folks Sunday and reportc back to Ft. Douglas Sunday night. |
