Show Arcadia Mrs. Marion S. Shields Miss Lois Lusty attended L. D. S. General Conference at Salt Lake City over the. weekend. Mrs. Vernal J. Nielsen returned return-ed Saturday, after spending two days at the Roosevelt hospital. Miss Evelyn Gilbert returned Sunday from Salt Lake City, after attending a convention of high school choruses. Miss Gilbert Gil-bert sang with the Roosevelt high school chorus. Mrs. J. D. Massey and granddaughter, grand-daughter, of Vernal, spent Easter Eas-ter with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross. Miss Ruth Gilbert returned to Logan last week to resume her school work, after a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Gilbert. Gordon Shields, who is attending attend-ing Carbon College, spent Easter with home folks. John Bell, of Salt Lake City, visited on Easter with his daughters daugh-ters and son, Mrs. Frank Hol-gate, Hol-gate, Mrs. Archie Larsen, Mrs. George Marctt and Ted Bell. i Visitors Sunday afternoon at! the ranch of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Allen on South My ton Bench, I were Mr. and Mrs. Marvin G. Shields and Mr. and Mrs. W. Ralph Shields. J Reese Clayburn, Kenneth Clayburn and Vcre Nielsen were attending to irrigation work here Monday. PTA was held in the. Arcadia ward house, Monday night. A good crowd was present from Myton and Bridgeland. Seven men with tractors went to the ranch of Mrs. Hartle, Wednesday, Wed-nesday, and plowed her farm lor planting. Several other members mem-bers of the priesthood later assisted as-sisted with planting the crop. Relief Society was held Tuesday Tues-day at the hhome of President Rose. Gilbert. Vera Larsen conducted con-ducted the lesson. Sixteen members mem-bers were present. |
