Show Funerals Funeral services were conducted con-ducted by Bishop Wilson Tuesday Tues-day at 11 a. m. at the Avalon chapel for William Wallace Jensen, Jen-sen, 56, of Randlelt, who died of apoplexy December 27 at 11:25 p. m. in the Roosevelt hospital, hos-pital, following a one day illness. The invocation was offered by C. R. Wilson. Musical selections "I Need There Every Hour," and "I Know My Redeemer Lives," were sung by a chorus from Randlett and Lcota. with a vocal solo "In Th3 Garden," sung by Harvey Knight. Jesse Brough ar.d Ray Barney were the speakers, speak-ers, while Roy Taylor" pronounced pronoun-ced the benediction. Mr Jensen was born at Ver-Jnal, Ver-Jnal, May, 1891, a son of Mary R. Pickett and J. P. Jensen. On July 3, 191G he married Mary Winn, who died approximately nir.e yc?vs pgo. Thy were p o-neer o-neer homesteaders in the Rar.d lelt area where Mr. J?rscn h-v-boon a prominent farmer. He was active as an Elder in the L. D. S. church. He is survived by the following follow-ing children: W. George Jensen and Virgil Jensen, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Marie Locke, Mina-koka, Mina-koka, Calif.; Mrs. Afton Rogers, Van, Lynn and Stanley Jensen. Randlett; and Edgar Jensen, Ouray. Ou-ray. Also surviving are one brother, Jess Jensen, Randlett: and three sisters. Mrs. Annie Bowdcn, Hancock Cove: Mrs. Maude- Heal, Provo, and Mrs. Alberta Dyer, Denver. Burial was in the Roosevelt City cemetery under the direction direc-tion of the Dillman Funeral Home, with Bishop Wardlc, of Lcota, dedicating the grave. Fred and Archie Jensen, Earl Winn, Ralph Winn, Frances jLundbcrg and Spencer Bowdcn acted as pallbearers. |
