Show BLUEBELL Moon Lake quarterly conference confer-ence was held in Bluebell on Sunday. Elder Spencer W. Kimball Kim-ball of the Twelve Apostles of Salt Lake City, gave some timely instructions to the Latter Day Saint people. Music was furnished furnish-ed by the Mt. Emmons choir under un-der the direction of Mrs. Rcta Hanson, and the Altamont high school girls with Mrs. Vola Hancock Han-cock directing. There were about 280 people in attendance. Mrs. Charles Smith of Duchesne Du-chesne is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith this past week. Word comes that Blaine Kimball Kim-ball has received his discharge from the army. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Gale announce an-nounce the arrival of a 5 lb. baby boy, born Monday, November 29, at the Roosevelt hospital. The Primary held a Costume party on Halloween night. The evening was spent in dancing and playing games. Punch, orang-I orang-I es and cookies were served, Fred Mathews of the Merchant Marine arrived home on Sunday of last week to spend a 30 day furlough. He has seen about 58 thousand miles of water and islands is-lands in the South Pacific. - The Mutual held a Halloween dance on Tuesday evening. A large crowd attended. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. Mr, and Mrs. Joseph Mecham and children of Upalco. visited Mr, and Mrs. Claud Mathews on Sunday, Mrs. LeRcne Kimball and Mrs. Velva Owen and daughter, Maxine Max-ine visited Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Goodrich on Sunday. They attended at-tended conference. |
