Dowell and Miss Davis, of Springville; and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Diamond and daughter, of Park City; were weekend guests recently of Mr. and Mrs. Theo Phillips. At the 4-H Fair held in Vernal recently, the Fort Duchesne club took first place in demonstration work. Eleanor Hackford and Jeanne Jenson of the Stitch-In-1 Time club will go to the State Fair with their demonstration of i sewing zipper plackets. LaBerle Gulzman is the club leader. In the clothing5 division, phase . 1, group exhibit of tne Ucnnelt club, with Joyce Bolton as leader, lead-er, won first place honors. Mr. and' Mrs. L. T. Pullum , and sons, of Saratoga, Wyoming, , arrived Tuesday for a day's visit with their sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Norman. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Labrum left September 11 for a week's vacation trip to Yellowstone National Park, where they will get their daughters. Renee and Donna Rae, who have been working work-ing there for the past season. Dr. and Mrs. Theron C. Olsen, of Salt Lake,' visited, Sunday, with Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson, Ben-son, of Ioka. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Angus spent a few days in Richfield, during the week. Dr. Glenn H. Wyler returned last week from a stay in Tacoma, Washington where he worked in surgery at the Tacoma General hospital. He made the trip by plane. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Harmston drove out from Salt Lake City Sunday to spend a day with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene ! Harmston, and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Sather, of Sather's Jewelry, Evanston, Wyoming; Wy-oming; S. H. Sather, Sather's Jewelry, Craig, Colorado, and Frank Jones, Decker Jewelry Co., Salt Lake City, were weekend week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Sather. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sprouse and Betty Jo and Don, motored to Price Sunday to attend funeral fun-eral services for Mrs. Sprouse's brother. Bemell Buchanan arrived in Roosevelt Friday evening to spend a 5-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Buchanan. Bemell is stationed with the Air Force in Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Page and Mrs. Pearl Swain spent Sunday and Monday in Provo as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wick Swain and family. Noel Swain returned to his home in Provo, Sunday afternoon, after-noon, after spending three weeks with his grandmother, Mrs. Pearl Swain. Also guests at the Swain residence res-idence during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Bemell Smaln. of Boulder Boul-der City. Nevada, and ?orrest Caldwell, of Vernal.
