Show SSSXSXSc?xsxSgCis IOKA (Mrs. Bertha Angug) Mrs. Agnes Marchant returned home Tuesday after an extended visit with her daughter and family fam-ily in Salt Lake City. She also visited another daughter and family in Emery, Utah. Ralph Miles, of Blith, California, Califor-nia, spent several days in Ioka the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Orie Cook, of Bluebell, visited Mrs. Cook's parents par-ents Monday evening. Relief Society held an all-day work meeting, Tuesday. A quilt was quilted and other articles finished for the church welfare. Mrs. John Angus visited Mrs. P. C. Johnson in Roosevelt, Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Mrs. Clara Axelson, of Price, visited Thursday with her sister, Mrs. Reed Lemon. A program was given by the M.I.A. Sunday evening. The Sunday School held an officers' and teachers' meeting Monday njsht at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd. Sunday School and M. I. A. were well represented at Union meeting, Wednesday night. Beulah Percival, Russel Robinson Rob-inson and Arial Michie were missionaries to Bennett ward Sunday, at Sacrament meeting. M.rs. Roy French and son, Far-rel, Far-rel, of Salt Lake City, visited Monday to Thursday with Mrs. French's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Webb. Dee Drollinger returned to service in the Navy, Friday, after spending a leave with his parents. par-ents. Clayton Webb visited at home ; three days last week. Clayton is employed in Salt Lake City. I Mr. and Mrs. Allen Drollinger I attended a birthday party honor-' honor-' ing G. B. Workman, Wednesday, in Hancock Cove. Mr. and Mrs. George Searle, of Roosevelt, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Drollinger, Drollin-ger, Sunday. . Mr. and Mrs. Craig Caldwell visited at Lapoint Sunday. Mrs. Ann Michie is in Pleasant Plea-sant Grove, helping to nurse her mother, Mrs. Mary Hardman, who is critically ill at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Delsie Michie. Cheryl Drollinger sustained an injury to her hand when the Drollinger car door was shut on it. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Johanson and daughter, Diane, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred G. Johanson and son, Mitchel, and daughter, Mary, were visiting in Ioka Sunday and were also dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percival. Arden Drollinger worked last week repairing county bridges. Boyd Lemon, president of the Toyack chapter of F.F.A., went to the F.F.A. convention in Kansas Kan-sas City. Mr. and Mrs. Steve 1 Molski left Friday to make their home in Salt Lake. The Malskis have spent t he summer here with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Ames. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Drpllinger and Mrs. Edna Drollinger were guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Lemon, Monday. |
