Show CAP'S Receive Training Machines From U S Navy , Request All Servicemen Having Training In This Type of Equipment To Help on Project The Roosevelt Squadron of the Cival Air Patrol has received two training machines from the U. S. Navy. These two machines are very valuable in the training of the CAP Personnel. One is the Reflecto Trainer used in identification of planes and the gauges of range. The other machine is a Ball Turret Machine Ma-chine gun trainer. These machines have been in the classroom for several weeks but no training hac hpn rriven on them because the Squadron does not have an instructor for these machines. Therefore, we are appealing to our returned service men to give us a helping hand with these training aids. Any service man-who is home on leave or who has had any training train-ing on these machines that could give the Squadron a few minutes of his time on Monday evening, will be more than welcome. Eight of the adult members of this Squadron are to attend the State Officer's Training school1 in Salt Lake the 28 and 29 of this month. The adults attending to the regular meetings has fallen off a great deal in the past few weeks. It is urged that everyone make a little effort to attend. Ratings were issued to the following fol-lowing cadets: The rating of corporal was given to Bob Pen-field, Pen-field, Joe Gleaton, Marvin Pen-field Pen-field and Keith Wardle. Pfc. to LeRoy Pulos, Rodney Perry and Tommy Timothy. |
