Show Tridell Mrs. C. E. Merkely Mrs. F. W. Landen, of Salt Lake, has been visiting at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Whetstone. Mr. and Mrs. Pat Tucker, of i Salt Lake, Mrs. Max Berber and son, Mrs. Golden Merklcy and children, of Macser, and Mrs. Merkley's sister, Nola, of Salt Lake, visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley and Nellie Merkley. Mrs. Leland Cunliff nd three i chilclern, of Bingham Canyon, have been visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Alwood. A Ward party was given Monday Mon-day evening honoring Mr. and Mrs. DeVear Ross who are moving mov-ing to Sandy, Utah. Mr. Ross has filled the position of first counselor in the MIA and Mrs. Ross was second counselor in jthe Relief Society. 1 The Relief Society held a going-away party Tuesday for Mrs. Ross, presenting her with a book, and Friday a club farewell fare-well party was held at the Lorin Ross home. The Rossos were presented with a waffle iron. I Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, who have bought the Ross home, took possession during the week. Dean Evans and Mr. Smith, , of Rigby, Idaho, were guests ' Thursday and Friday at the P. II. Goodrich home. Marvin Curtis came in from Salt Lake Sunday for a visit. Visitors at Sunday Sacrament meeting were the following members mem-bers of the Roosevelt Stake presidency: presi-dency: Ray Dillrrian, Russell Todd, Mr. Angus and Otis Hor-rocks; Hor-rocks; and Uintah Stake presidency presi-dency members Archie Johnson, Byron Goodrich, Jessie Haws, Lawrence Fox and Chillus Caldwell. Cald-well. Mr. and Mrs. Dewaine Caldwell Cald-well made a trip to Salt Lake last week where Dewaine's father underwent a major operation. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Ross made an overnight trip to Sandy, Saturday. Sat-urday. I , |
