Show Heola Mrs. Viola Horrocks . Mr. and Mrs. Deone Spencer, Mrs. Delma Bastian and Dallas Spencer attended the funeral of their uncle, Jim Rigly, held at Fairview. Dallas was one of the speakers. Mrs. Elaine Krissman. of Vernal, Ver-nal, visited her mother. Mrs. Delma Del-ma Bastian, last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Lurvil Olsen and son are now living in the home formerly owned by Glen Olsen, who is working at Lark, Utah. EIRay Duncan was taker! to the Roosevelt hospital last Sunday Sun-day where he was operated on for appendicitis. Mother's Day visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Mitchell included Mr. and Mrs. j Mark Mitchell, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Mitchell, Wendell and l Delpha Mitchell, from Kamas. Lawrence Mitchell, Calvin and Garth Anderton spent the weekend week-end at home. They are employed at Rangely, Colorado. Eldon Anderton, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Anderton, has been home on a 13-day leave from the Navy. Ellen, small daughter of Mrs. Berle Root, is staying with her grandmother, Mrs. R. Gardner, of Hayden, while her mother is in the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Glines and family, of Vernal, spent Mother's Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ern Glines, Neil Jensen, Maxine Gardner, Lila Duncan and a friend, students stu-dents at the B Y U, spent the weekend at home. The small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Wiscombe, of Lay-ton, Lay-ton, is spending a ' few weeks with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Rhoades. The Mother's Day program, Sunday, was given under the direction di-rection of the Sunday School, centered on the theme, "The Lat-ter-Day Saints' Home," with Betty Bolton, Gary Rhoades. Thelma McConkie, Carma Gardner, Gard-ner, Mary Leavitt, Fern Ober-hansly, Ober-hansly, Arvilla Eksund. Myrth Davis, Rawlin Spencer, the Second Sec-ond Intermediate class, Myron Duncan, Carolyn Whiting, Lila Horrocks and Geneva Whiting participating. A potted plant was presented to each mother. Mrs. Alta Kettle and children, of Randlett, have been visiting at the home of Frank Whitmore. |
