Show Lyceum Artists Contracted For Winter Programs Arrangements have been completed com-pleted with the Fred C. Graham Lyceum Bureau of Salt Lake City for the presentation of five artistic and popular musical entertainments en-tertainments at Roosevelt beginning begin-ning in October and continuing until April, 1949. The series will be called the Roosevelt Community Com-munity Lyceum Arts Association. Samuel Marti, Mexican violinist violin-ist and Gunhild Nilsson. American Ameri-can pianist, will open the series in October, to be followed in November by "The Song Stylists," Styl-ists," a mixed trio, specializing in light operatic compositions. The "St. Regis Trio," a costumed cos-tumed group will appear in January Jan-uary with late musical comedy offerings and the "Concert Theater," Thea-ter," featuring Elizabeth Crawford, Craw-ford, soprano, and Litia Namora, dancer, will make up the March attraction. The April and closing program will sec the return to Roosevelt of Mary Hutchinson, dramatic interpreter. Miss Hutchinson will be remembered for her realistic impersonations two yedrs ago. Representatives of local clubs met with Mr. Graham .a few weeks ago to plan the cultural series for Roosevelt. The local arrangers included: Mrs. Parley Rawlings, Clem Labrum. Ray E. Dillman, E. J. Nixon and Paul Nelson. |
