Douglas where he was Inducted Induct-ed Into the army. Mrs. Lowry and children will remain here for the present. Ralph Miles went to Salt Lake City to attend conference and is spending the week there on business. busi-ness. Miss Edna Angus returned to Salt Lake City Monday having come home to attend funeral services ser-vices for her niece, Maurine Webb which were held in Bluebell Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Afton Seeley and daughter of Bluebell were visiting Mrs. Jenson's father, J. W. Jen-son Jen-son Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fisher of Myton were visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Gentry Sunday. No Sunday school or sacrament meetings were held Sunday so people could listen to the broadcast broad-cast of L. D. S. conference. A. O. Dart who has been employed em-ployed in Salt Lake the past two weeks came home Thursday. J. W. Jenson was visiting in Upalco Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ethan Nelson. Mrs. Paul Lemon who has spent the past several weeks with her parents, Mr.- and Mrs. James Lloyd left Thursday to join Mr. Lemon who is stationed at Camp Barklcy, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Calder of Moon Lake spent the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Garret Gar-ret Stone. Mr. and Mrs. Clegg of Provo were business visitors in Ioka one day last week. LeRoy Timothy returned to Craig, Colorado, after a few days visit with his mother, Mrs. A. N. Timothy. Ardell Johnson and Dale Jones spent a few days here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Johnson John-son and Mrs. Celia Jones. M, I. A. meeting, the first class work for the year was held Tuesday Tues-day evening. Everyone is urged to attend as interesting studies are outlined for all classes. |
