Show Burns Claim 7 year old Daughter Impressive funeral services were held Tuesday, September 28 at 1 oclock at the Bennett Ward house for Betty McKowen, 7 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burnes McKowen who passed away enroute to Salt Lake City for medical help. Funeral services were under the direction of the Bennett ward 'Bishopric, with Bishop Bis-hop Otis Horrocks presiding. Program Pro-gram was as follows: Ira Hamak-er Hamak-er and Lola Bolton sang, "Sometime "Some-time Somewhere"; invocation, David Evans; Merve, Lola Bolton and Ora Hamaker sang, "Your Sweet Little Rose Bud Has Left You"; Ora and Lola Hamaker, "I Need Thee Every Hour"; speaker, John G. Bolton, Marion A. Harrison offered the benediction. benedic-tion. The internment was in the My ton cemetery. Azar Evans dedicated ded-icated the grave. The Pall bearers were Byron Bolton, Arthur Bolton, Bol-ton, Hollis Col ton and Larrine Bolton, all cousins of Betty. The Dillman Funeral Home took charge of the burial. Betty was born June 25, 1936 at Myton, Utah. In addition to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Burnes McKowen, Mc-Kowen, she Is survived by the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John McKowen of Vernal and Mrs. E. Warr of Myton and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Joe Norton and Mildred McKowen of Salt Lake City and P. F. C. Ted McKowen of Florence, Arizona; Cleah, Phillip, Howard, Kenneth. Ada, Genlel, Patsy, Danny and Clella. Her brother, Ted arrived too late for the services, but spent the week with his parents. He left for Arizona Saturday. -- i |
