Show OURAY GETS GEESE Sixty greater Canada geese all young of the were transferred from the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge to the Ouray National Wildlife Refuge in Uintah The birds were banded and pinioned under an agreement with the Bear River Refuge with concurrence of the Utah Fish and Game Department in an effort to establish a resident breeding population of Canada geese at the Ouray National H. J. Refuge reported that the transfer was without any loss of and they have apparently established themselves in this new waterfowl It Is hoped that when these birds mature and raise broods they will return to this area to provide a of geese in the Uintah |
