Show High Uintah Camp to open On Monday at Windy Park Over two hundred scouts and are preparing- for the Uintah Camp at Windy i which will Monday July Scouts from Uintah and Duchesne Districts will join with scouts from the Provo area of the Utah National Parks Council for the week long camp which is located on the site of the old Windy Park Ranger Station on toe Old Thornburg Military toad that earned ores from the mines and connected the Basin with Evanston SCOUTS HILL ramp as patrols and troops and put to practice the many scouting learned during the past year Many will work on the re- j Wired scout skills and merit j badges to earn higher with recognition to be given on Friday night at the campfire which starts at p.m. Scouts will have the opportunity to hike the many trails and old roads in the area leading to Manila Trout Creek Ranger Oaks Park Reservoir and parts of the old Thornburg Military Road TROOPS WILL cheek into the camp on Monday and will check out of camp on Saturday The camp will be under the direction of Bert District Scout Executive and Douglas District Ex- from Help- mg to prepare the camp are Pat Roberts and Gerald Bolton of the Roosevelt District Committee and Roland Merkley and Morris Cook of the District |
